Acceptable Use
Last updated: 12 June 2026 · Effective: 1 July 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers Data Scraping, Proxy IP and LLM Analytics, including access through the API, the application and any credentials issued to you. It applies regardless of who operates the tooling that sends the requests.
2. Permitted use
The services are intended for collecting information that is publicly accessible without authentication — product listings, prices, availability, public reviews, category and search pages — and for analysing that information for business purposes such as market intelligence, pricing and brand monitoring.
You must configure targets responsibly: reasonable request rates, no unnecessary repetition, and respect for the robots directives you choose to honour in your job configuration.
3. Prohibited targets and content
You may not use the services to access, collect or distribute:
- content behind a login, paywall or any other authentication barrier that you are not authorised to pass;
- personal data collected without a lawful basis, and in particular special categories of personal data;
- material that is illegal in Poland or in the jurisdiction of the target, including CSAM and content infringing intellectual property;
- data from government, banking, healthcare, telecommunication or critical infrastructure systems;
- credentials, payment card data, or any content obtained by exploiting a vulnerability.
4. Prohibited activities
You may not use the services to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or network, or to test security without written authorisation from its owner;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, create fake accounts, manipulate reviews, votes, rankings or advertising metrics;
- commit fraud, including ticket scalping in breach of local law, credential stuffing or payment fraud;
- conduct denial-of-service activity, or place load on a target that a reasonable operator would consider disruptive;
- circumvent geographic restrictions in order to breach a licence, a sanctions regime or export control law;
- stalk, harass, dox or otherwise target an individual;
- resell or sublicense raw access to our proxy pool without a written reseller agreement.
5. Rate limits and fair use
Each pack carries technical limits on request rate and concurrency, described in the Documentation. Limits protect both our infrastructure and the sources you collect from. Deliberately circumventing them — by splitting traffic across accounts, for example — is a breach of this policy.
If your workload needs higher limits, request them; we raise them where the targets and the pattern of use permit.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe our infrastructure is being used against you or your systems, write to abuse@vectrawatch.com with the affected domains, timestamps and, where available, the source addresses. We investigate every report and respond within two business days.
Site operators may also request that their domains be excluded from collection through our infrastructure. We honour such requests unless doing so is prevented by law.
7. Enforcement
Where we detect or are notified of a breach, our response is proportionate: a warning and a request to change configuration, throttling of the traffic concerned, suspension of specific targets, or — for serious or repeated breaches — suspension or termination of the account.
For breaches involving illegal content or attacks on third-party systems, we suspend access immediately and may be obliged to notify the competent authorities. No refund is due for a balance forfeited as a result of a termination for breach.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the legal and technical landscape changes. Material changes are announced by email to account owners and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect.
